Hello! I’m Nava, currently pursuing my Professional MS in Biotechnology at Northeastern University, Boston. I have completed my B.Tech in Biotechnology with minor specialization in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Manipal Institute of Technology, India, where I built a strong academic foundation and gained several hands-on research experience.
I have worked across academic and industrial settings, applying core techniques in cell culture, upstream bioprocessing, and protein purification. My primary areas of research interest include Protein Engineering, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Drug Research, and Bioprocessing.
I am passionate about translating research into real-world therapeutic solutions and continuously exploring innovations that advance human health. Outside the lab, I enjoy traveling, photography, reading books, and baking!

Co-authored a peer-reviewed paper on bacterial diseases in marine fish species, published in World Journal of Microbiology and Biotechnology – Springer Nature.
Research Contribution – ERIA Climate Change Report (FY2024)
Contributed to Chapter 1 of the ERIA Research Project Report on climate change vulnerabilities and socio-economic impacts in Southeast Asia. Focused on educational frameworks for autonomous adaptation through regional research collaboration.
iGEM Project 2022
Collaborated on AMPifin, a synthetic biology project that earned a gold medal and five award nominations at the iGEM Giant Jamboree 2022 held in Paris. Led human practices, outreach, and stakeholder engagement.
Policy Brief Contribution – T20 Summit India 2023 (G20)
Provided research support for a policy brief published under T20 India 2023, an official G20 engagement group, focused on digital public infrastructure for sustainable transformation.
